Well while we are at it while riding home from crits on Friday night that section from the bridge at Watanobbi(werent they supposed to change this name?) to Wyong town centre is a bit "hows your father".
When riding on the shoulder found the surface uneven and very bumpy.
The next time they resurface they would only have to add a foot of hotmix past the white line to make a bit safer

Enterprise drive southbound is in need of a clean up and tree trimming where there is a current cycle lane but is unable to be used in sections, as this is a popular commuter route. Also the hill before Ourimbah uni is very narrow and dangerous.

North of the bridge in Budgewoi has NO shoulder until you get nearer to the soccer club.  The road ends at the white line.  Very very sketchy during busier times.

9 locations in Wyong shire needing attention have been added to the list. Keep them coming.  The priority of such will be determined at CCCC meeting in 4 weeks.

Following on from the Cycling Club Meeting last Tuesday, a letter was forwarded to Wyong Council regarding issues the Club has raised.
Some of these issues have already been resolved and  is a very positive outcome to your safety whilst riding.

I also noticed whilst riding to work this morning, that the photographed pot holes that were also sent in as part of the report have all been filled. I was personally very happy with this as I don’t need to swerve anymore.  Well done Wyong Shire Council.
Also was advised that Magenta Shores on road cycle lane North Bound Stops without warning issue has been resolved.
Also Enterprise drive clean up has been completed. Enterprise Drive cycle lane   Unable to ride in lane, rubbish  and tree branches   Road sweep and tree pruning.

Longer term issues.
Shelley Beach Roundabout From the North   Old style wide stormwater grate.    Replace with different style. OR Paint around drain indicating location.
Dedicated Cycle Lane East side between Wyong and Tuggerah >   Glass , rocks, sticks and general debris across path.   Once a month path road sweep or general clean.
North Wyong Railway  overpass shared Bridge   Road narrow and shared walk bridge hard to get to and exit. Both directions Reduction of size of speed pole measures. To narrow to safely ride through. Curb and gutter change to allow access from road. Gutter already open.
North Wyong Pacific Highway  Both directions. Shoulder is in a very rough and bumpy condition and has no tar in places. Remove raised sections of tar and re-tar shoulder for safety.
Enterprise Drive near University   Road narrow and no shoulder. No warning signage. Extend shoulder and erect safety signage.
Wyong lights to Wyong river Bridge. South and north Bound. Extremely rough cycle lane/ shoulder   Resurface shoulder /parking area or minimal fill potholes.
North of Bridge at Budgewoi. No shoulder until soccer club. Extend shoulder/ signage
Palmdale to Kangy Angy. Both Directions. Large shoulder but unable to ride in it. Massive amount of loose rocks.Dangerous for cars and cyclists. Road sweep the shoulder to 2-3 metres
Wyong Bridge   Grass and rubble on bridge shoulder   Kill weeds and sweep off rubble.

http://www.abc.net.au/environment/articles/2011/09/08//3312420.htm

Its not just about bike lanes

This article makes a lot of sense for everyone to consider for future city/life needs.

It does have a lot of replies that revolve around the "them versus us"  mentality so I would recommend not reading them. Aggression and counter aggression is no good for anyone.
