hello everyone
would someone give me some advice on what grade I should go in at Calga this weekend? Its my first time racing there, I usually race D grade at crits but have been put up to C after winning 3 times. I know crits is a small distance race and calga is a-lot longer so I am wondering if the pace in C grade at calga would be near the same as it would be at crits.
Thanks Grin

Try C Alex and see how you go. Don't do too much work until the second lap - by then you should know if you can hang in there. Have fun and enjoy the race.

If it's too hard, drop back next week - but I reckon you'll smash em!

Good stuff! Be sure you make the overweight oldies hurt on the hills and hide behind them on the return leg.  Grin

Make sure u talk to me, Mick, or Hodgee (Handicappers) when u sign on at Calga so we can match u to the grade that's going to suit your first 50k road race.
