OK girls.  Let's do this thing!

Sunday morning on 19 July.  Nice and early (probably around 7ish).

Lets get numbers and participants and then decide on where we will ride (ie Calga course or maybe Terrigal Toukley loop or the Peninsula coffee ride or part there of).

Those members who said their better halves were interested, please let them know (Callum, Stu, Steve R, Pete S?)

Who's in??

I am!....next

Howdy, Louise Linda said thanks for the offer but we're in Brisbane til next Monday. She's back on the bike after two months off with a sprained ankle so keep her in mind for next ride.

Have a great ride ladies

Sorry ladies, third trip to the ED for the kids in three weeks has put charlene's come back plans on hold a bit longer.
She would definitely be a starter in a couple of months.

Cheers

Cheryl is in.  Yoni is in.  So that is four so far.

Sorry to hear that Linda and Charlene can't make it.  Winter is not always the best time for these rides so will rev it up again as it gets warmer.

Ok, so given the HUGE response, the plan is to do the coffee ride.  So 7am at WGS.  Unless anyone has a better idea (and don't worry Hol, we may or may not stay with the bunch depending on who is in it.)  To be honest, Ive become a bit rusty over winter and Im not sure I will hang on.

Sorry to say but Jess and Sue (Jess's mum) won't be joining you ladies tomorrow as the Hunter Valley running festival is on.

Have a great ride!

Well I did us quite proud on the coffee ride today  Roll Eyes!

All of you who paid me deposits to 'take out' Yoni, please forgive me, I did my best!  Your refunds are in the mail Wink.  I have a hazy memory that someone else came off???  If so, I am very sorry  :'(  I hope your bike is ok, too.

But seriously, thanks guys for being so charming, even making sure I left no parts of my bike behind on the ground, and for checking later to see that I was really ok.  It turned out to be a pretty minor incident, luckily.

Thanks also to Rob at Pushy Galore for getting everything back the way it should be!

You shouldn't all be so nice - I might come back!  Grin

It is called a 15kg weight advantage Miss Holly!  What makes you better for the hills will always be of benefit to me in the demolition derby.

I can name about 10 boys that are decidedly unhappy that you are replacing those knicks.

Yeah... well I am not sure I want to share all the nice boys with such attractive young women.  I should have thought when I pushed Keira off her bike on the roundabout that you pretty young things might have taken the hint  Grin.   I was thinking of taking Freya out yesterday right before the bunch sprint at the Handicap but thought better of it.....  think I might wake up after a prolonged period of unconsciousness if I took Freya on regardless of the weight advantage.... how many riders do you know that can get on their road bike twice in a six month period and finish in the bunch sprint of a handicap!

BTW Louise Kennett... you are a safe female rider, the night that you marched me past about 50 people standing in line to get into a night club in Sydney (with me saying...."umm Lou, those people are already waiting to get in") and said "Yoni girls like us dont stand in lines" I knew I was onto a good thing!

Its never about the skin at our age.  Its all about the eyes and the body language.... Tips that I will never, never divulge!!!  Let's just say that working in a nightclub (back in another life) has its advantages.
