As part of bike week, Avoca Beach Theatre is showing a bike movie. I believe it's free entry? You'll have to book tickets now though if you are interested.

Check the link below for more details:

This message from Allan Brown at council regarding this event:

can you please add the information on Bike Week
to ensure that we get to have 250 seats sold for the Inaugural Cycling Film festival.

NB: Only 100 tickets left, ideal for those partners of members who do not particular
wish to cycle or cannot but wish to be a part of their partners passion.

Note: Anecdotes from Mike Tomalaris as well as the movie of a blind cyclist is a must see.

Please have members refer to www.avocabeachpicturetheatre.com.au for details
and bookings. As the event is FREE it is recommended that people book
asap to have a seat secured.

Also if the club were to cycle there as a group ride it would provide
a great presence especially in the blue and orange.
Valet Bike Parking can be provided.

It would be good if a club member won the Tour De France DVDs on offer.

It was a great night. Thanks to everyone who organised it. Would be great to have as an annual event or even more regular. Love to see some of the classic cycling movies up on the big screen ie Hell on wheels/Eddy Merckx/Flying Scotsman etc etc.

Cheers

As of 4:30pm today 20/9/11 there are only 64 seats remaining out of 280.  Shocked

When booking there is a $10 deposit (payable by credit card) per ticket and is refundable when you turn up.

I have purchased 3 additional tickets. Please let me know if you want one of these (free), or book your own.
