The discounted race entry fee for wearing a club shirt which operated at Calga was intended to be short term only but was continued for the duration of the season.
We will be reverting back to the usual $10 for seniors $5 for juniors starting today.
We would still like to see you wearing the club kit Smiley

Actually it isnt an avatar but an accurate current photo.  After a month of travel, airline food, fried tid-bits at cocktail parties, too much booze and too little sleep I've aged and gained rapidly. (tough job, but.....)

Thanks guys for a nice hard workout, pace was on pretty much from the get go, and a big thanks to all the officials and spectators, will definitely be back for some more pain in the near future as the course is a lot better than bouncing around Kooragangs pavé on a Friday arvo.

A flat front tyre cut my race 1 lap short but I am not overly disappointed as I kept it upright in the corner before the hill with quite a decent front end slide, a crash a few days out from the UCI worlds was not something I wanted, and I got what I came for a decent hit out and some lung burn thrown in.

I was right behind Bootsland in that corner - did well to stay upright. The facials were priceless though as I came round.  Grin

Thanks for making the trip down and good to hear you enjoyed yourself. Good luck at the worlds.
