27-01-10


Last week
•   From what I understand it was a good night of racing  
•   The All in (including Jnrs) Italian Pursuit went well

  
Top scorers for Last week
•   Andrew Hellmich 13 points

This week
•   Round 1 Warm up Scratch
•   Round 2   2 lap H’cap
•   Round 3  ½ lap Screamer  

•   Round 4  Pursuits
•   Round 5  January Time Blaster 9:39 for $40


½ lap screamers
•   Will start from pursuit line in back straight
•   Need holders

Pursuits  
•   The pursuits will be over 6 laps for all grades
•   We will have four starting stations (North, South, East and West)
•   Riders intending on attempting a club record must notify before the start of racing at 6:30pm
•   Riders attempting records will have separate timers for actual record distance.

Time Blaster
•   The Time Blaster is a 16 Lap race that is timed
•   Should the winning rider better the time of 9:39 they will win $40
•   All riders are eligible to start
•   A solid field of A grade riders is required to break this time

Correct, championship will be by grades. The A grade champion will be crowned Club Track Champion for 2010

•   As always a great night of racing
•   Despite a rainy start the weather cleared to be one of the most perfect nights for racing. No wind, warm conditions and a relatively clean track
•   Four Track records were set
•   Congratulations to:

The Time Trials
•   Please note that these will take up a bit of time
•   The start order will be in reverse order to sign on sheet
•   Please assist by being ready on the fence near start mark when the rider prior is racing.
•   Where possible in the TT’s we will double up so pleases be prompt to the start.

Juniors
•   Championship will be over the first 3 events only
•   Non championship Jnr development may also run.

•   Clearly with the form of some of our riders we may see a couple of records fall during Round 2’s Time trials

Club Championships
•   The club championships will be held on the 3rd Febuary  (weather permitting)
•   The championships will be graded A, B, C, and Jnr Trackies
•   As with last year the championships, they will be held on an omnium basis  
•   Scratch race, Time trial, Kierin and Miss’N’Out
•   Points will be awarded 5,3,2 and 1 for each event
•   The Grade championship winner will be the rider with the most points in their respective grade
•   The Central Coast Track Champion for 2010 will be the A Grade winner
•   The point’s ernt on the night + the standard 5 for participation will be added to the season’s pointscore. With a maximum cap of 18 points.
•   All Medals and Prizes will be awarded at presentation night.
•   Should riders be equal on points the rider with the most number of wins will be victorious. Should riders still be tied the rider with the faster Time Trial will take precedence
