Can anyone recommend cheap accommodation in Bathurst? Not after anything fancy; just a bed for me. I spotted Jack Duggans pub at $70 including breakfast. Having said that, Leigh (the better half) is suggesting she might come along now that I'm not heading to the old school buddies' place so I might need five star  Undecided

I think the 3 brm penthouse apartment that is on this site should suit Leigh.  Tell her not to worry or feel that she will be excluded from the fun.  IN FACT I can with almost certainty suggest that if you get this place... we will all come up and bring some drinks and watch the crits on saturday afternoon together.

Now I am not sure what the 3brm penthouse suite comes in at from a $$$$ point of view..... but you will have our company.... which is a truly invaluable experience.  Grin

If you are not interested in buying our love..... last year we all stayed at this place Chris.... it was nice.... but not 5 star.

Thanks for the help, Yoni. The 3 bedroom penthouse is very tempting but alas it's already booked. I've also got a feeling the mini-bar mightn't be safe  Wink

the start order seems to depend on speed indicated at registration- what's everyone else entered? Is it possible to change? I can't remember what I put in, and can't see how to check it either. Anyone help?

I nominated 25-30 km/hr but that could be a little optimistic without you in front towing me along all the straights  Cheesy

Found accomodation in Bathurst for the bargain basement price of $40 for the night; Shanahan's Family Hotel. As you can tell by the dodgy accommodation, Leigh decided to give it a miss. So if anyone is staying in the Citigate penthouse I'm happy to come up and help you out with the mini-bar  Grin
