Is this where the organised rides &/or club racing should be listed for easy reference?

The Calendar can be used and accessed by any member on the forum but is rarely used. Don't know why?

If anyone would like to make use of this facility, simply click on the "calendar" tab and either click on the date you'd like to make an entry on or click on the "new post" button. You'll be presented with a window that you are used to that will have the added function of applying your event to the calendar.

I might be stupid, but seems that nothing happens when I click on a day and I can't see a "new post" button either (though I have been known to have "a male look" & am quite often shown that my shirt/whatever really is where the wife told me to look in the first place)....

Click on the calendar tab and you should see the image that I have attached. Let me know if I am misunderstanding you but this works fine for me.

Once again in case I wasn't clear, I see nothing like a button and no hyperlinking on days either (which doesn't change the fact that I am quite possibly stupid too).

It's either that or a browser incompatability (but I doubt it).

as Grant suggests it looks like an access issue - I can't see any hyperlinks or post buttons either - but maybe that is the idea to prevent the Calendar being filled with junk?

Looks like only special people like you Stumpy have that access.

Ok, see your issue now. My understanding was that all registered members have access to this facility - I will make an update asap and let members know through this thread.

Can someone try out the calendar functions and let me know if all is working there. Should be accessible for any and all registered members.

here is what I have been using the "CALENDAR" for on the Newcastle forums.

http://www.newcastlecycling.smfnew.com/index.php?action=calendar

With more than one local club it gives people the chance to find out what is on without having to visit several websites.

I have it set so guests can view it so you won't need to sign up Wink
