What ever happened to 6:45 meeting at RWC?

I don't think leaving at 7am allows us enough time if anything runs less than ideally, i.e. a flat, slower rider getting up to PITS etc.

If NSCC ever decides to start running racing on time, we could be pushing it?

Actually Mick started that time on another thread.
In the past we have left a little before 7am . Steady pace gets you there in 1hr to 1h 5mins.
Time to sign on , visit the mens/ladies and then race. No warm up needed.
As we get to the cooler months we might want to make it leave by 6.50 to allow for fog, cold legs etc.

I agree tho, it doesn't allow for any mechanicals . Maybe change it for the next Beauies meeting.  Wink

For this time, just so we don't miss anybody stick with the original post.

I was referring to the 7am start, which I agree has also been the standard.

Todays ride started with 10 riders heading off from RWC to Beauies to meet up with another 7 for a racing crew of 16.   A mate of Vics included in the 10 rode down and back with us but wasn't able to get a 1 day licence.

Total ride time 59 mins to Beauies. Easy pace too.

No punctures before, during or after.  Smiley

Wish I went, maybe next time just ride up I can't race there I tend to get dropped in that bottom corner. I think crits are too short and fast for me I need something with more endurance  Grin

I hear ya man, getting round that bottom corner for us 6+ footers is like turning the Fairstar around in Cowan Creek.
