Weather to clear by this arvo so hope to see the die hards (Tamworth attendees may find this a stretch I know) this evening. With Murph's injured, sprint placings are also up for grabs.

Disappointingly arrived at Adcock last evening to no lights & no one . Not a word on the communication channels either was also a bit ordinary. One other chap arrived as I was leaving, also dissaponted as he was looking forward to his first track hit out.

Keys are with juniors for the lights and they made a call on the overcast conditions, I will try and get a spare set if they exist. There was no prior communique so all a surprise to me also.

I don't know if it was just me feeling a bit flat last evening combined with a fresh Murphs, but last night felt really hard. I found the first 30 laps particularly tough (Murphs mentioned 50+kph on the closing laps). My peak power averages per time (1min to 60min) were also higher than usual. A great turnout for a Monday & good stand in coach in Phil (although I did feel there was a bit of selective handicapping going on) . Hopefully we'll see Whitey back on Wednesday. Thanks to all who attended.

Wednesday will be the real test when the A graders stop getting the easy run and have to work for the whole bunch!

Gary, wasn't for a minute suggesting I don't suffer under your supervision & sharp tongue. Truth be told, my fastest averages (46kph) & highest wattages per time splits have been under your instruction.

Great news for us roadies (soon to be a trackie too) Gary. I'll be in attendance working on my streit-line sprints & might even get you to coach me on selective attention skills & "final" lap sprint tactics too (Simon & Troy, feel free to join me). Col..

Unless something has changed, I don't think lights have been booked for Monday nights. Not really an issue for track bikes though
