I was hoping to be at FP at 6am tomorrow morning to see who would turn up this week   Wink - until I got taken out by a car this morning on Wyong Rd  Angry
Damn car came straight out of a side street without seeing me - might be a new bike in it  Undecided, but luckily only a couple of bruises for me  Cool

Hope you are OK Wannie....  fell off last week, felt fine at the time but woke up the next day feeling a bit like I was run over!   Not sure if you should even tell Kate about this one.

Kate was always going to find out - hard not to when you leave home on the bike and come home in a friend's car and without your bike! I have a couple of aches this morning, but not as bad as I expected. 18 hours on a plane on Sunday should sort them all out!

glad you came through it OK Wannie
In the 3 weeks we rode in France I don't remember even having a close call with a car (apart from Chicken looking the wrong way before rolling through a T intersection on Alpe d'Huez  Wink) the drivers over there are so much more courteous to cyclists it isn't funny.
Anyhoo...... the SL3's are very nice....... Grin

Actually Simon, I said to Kate that if you HAD to get hit by anybody this guy was as good as you could hope for. He genuinely didn't see me (sun in eyes, I think), was extremely apologetic, called today to see how I was.......

You never want to get hit, but if you HAVE to be........

Any takers for Friday morning?

What about a slightly earlier start with it getting lighter?

Thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about a time Col, I think you just lost Murphs when you said "Earlier".
