Hi and welcome to yet another forum.

This particular forum will stay online and will not change, why, because I don't know how to. Just kidding.

I decided to take things into my own hands with all the kerfuffle with forums and websites lately so Impact Images has kindly donated the funds to get a forum up and running. This forum, although nothing to do with the Central Coast Cycling Club is for the use of it's members.

Feel free to make suggestions or if you would like to see anything changed, updated etc.

I haven't had a play around yet, but I believe we can upload photos and do all the usual stuff like get notification of replies etc.

It would be great to get everyone involved, especially the members that haven't contributed to previous forums for whatever reasons. I can guarantee though, that this forum will stay online for at least 12 months - it's been paid for. To encourage participation, feel free to write what you want but maybe think twice before you click submit to a personal slanging attack on another member.

Andrew Hurl from Silver Dimensions will be maintaining the site and he has taken and will continue to take steps to minimise unwanted content and unwanted links to sites that don't interest us clean and wholesome sporting folk.

Lastly, this forum is in no way intended to replace or be a substitute for the CCCC web site. This is just a place to keep up to date, chat, plan rides, report on races etc.

Hope it works out - enjoy

Track carnival went well
CCCC riders did a top Job
Mick Curran won major wheelrace (should have road A Grade)
Scott Harding won U17 Major Wheelrace
Guy Page was top dog in D Grade and won C+D combine
Ross Harding won Most aggressive rider
Travis clean sweeped countries and set new country record for U13's in TT, he also podiumed for Wheelrace.
CCCC Team of Scott Harding, Glen Elton, Michael Mellish, Mick Curran and Lawrence Van Shie road wel but were beaten by 20m by combined Sydney team of David Browne, Jack Bennet, Alex Carver, Richard Lang and Ben Isackson

Nice work Stumpy.
This looks like it will work, takes a bit of working out I guess for some of the oldies. Good to see Mick getting an early break with 2 quick posts.
Also thanks to Wal putting on the crit at short notice this morning and running it on his own, the 18 or so riders who did race were able to get a taste for next Friday.

I notice Mick has a significant lead already in the post competition, I thought I better put some posts in just to keep him in check.

Hey Andy, I hope you don't pay by the number of posts.  Happy to kick in some cash.

Hey Crafty,

I know this is not the official CCCC forum, but can we put a permanent link in the CCCC website.  That way we will get more traffic to the forum.

Andy I assume you would be OK with that? Smiley

No problem with me - but you'll have to get the ok from the committee. I think Paul has put a rotating link at the top of the page for now.

No probs Chicken - good to see it getting a workout.

Hodgee has just sent me a private message with a suggestion to add a new categorie where riders can meet other riders? Not sure what he means...... Wink
