No excuses Bex. My showjumping season starts next month so juggling between bike racing, getting horses fit and everything else and oh yeah, WORK.

Gee mate you're a hard taskmaster. Even a professional tour rider would baulk at travelling 8,000 km each weekend to do a 50km ride.  Huh

I do get one week per month on the coast, but last time I brought the bike home I didn't get to ride at Calga, it cost me $50 excess backage plus I dented the roof on the new car (wasn't happy!). That's not to mention the difficulties in lugging all the baggage around the airport and (as per my last trip home which is why I didn't bring it home last time) trying to bring the bike home on the train along with my luggage. Donation of a bike to ride on my return visits would be welcome; around 54cm would suit Grin

Hey guys, new to the site. Thinking of joining you this Sunday morning. Anyone planning on coming out. If so, where and what time do you meet.

The last coffee ride I did averaged 28.4km/h.

Do the UCI technical regulations cover our coffee rides?

Sure Grant, if all our computers were callibrated exactly the same. I'm only going on my averages every time I actually do this ride on Sunday morning.

If anyone is keen to join Hey Phil and I for a few extra ks with a couple of hills, we'll be leaving Terrigal at 6.20 and heading up kariong hill, over to moonee and back to meet the coffee ride.

Message or text me if you want us to meet or look out for you.
