Time trial start times and rider rankings up on cycling NSW if you want to print your own before the week end

They have given some of the CCCC riders some serious extra motivation with some of the rankings

Yes, all the best to the Juveniles.  There have obviously been some great results of late (a major achievement for NickY to have an A-grade Open win recently), well done.
I'm a bit lost re the "extra motivation" aspect of the quoted post though - what's that all about Huh

A great weekend.Great weather 7c-24c on sat sunny & no wind great for time trialing.
9c-21c sunny & a light breeze for sunday.
Super results from our 10 young riders with 1gold & 2 silver medals. For the first time Cycling NSW decided to seed the entire field. In the past it has been top 10 then either club alphabetical or alphabetical. Results as follows.
First up time trials

U/17m
11.5k
Nicholas Yallouris seeded 17/68. Rode strong finished 15th

U/15m
8.6k
Peiden Telfer seeded 18/45. Rode well for his first ride back after his Dunc Gray crash but still feeling the affects of it finishing 24th.
Kodie Howard seeded 23/45. Rode his best time trial of the season passing 2 riders &catching a 3rd on the finish line to finish 12th

U/13m
6k
Damon Marshall seeded 9/17. Rode a solid time trial to finish 10th

U/13w
6k
Briana Hunt seeded 7/16. Rode with confidence & strength to just miss out on medal for 4th place. Next year perhaps Gold awaits her as she is only a 1st year.
Jessica Field seeded 8/16. Rode well for 10th.
Syan Garstang seeded 16/16. Rode as usual with her big smile has been improving all season
finished 13th.

U/11m
3.6k
James Huggins seeded 7/14. Rode to best of his ability for 9th

U/9w
2k
Elizabeth Huggins seeded 3/9. Rode well to collect her first medal finished 2nd.

After the lunch time break it was time for criteriums.
Nick,Kodie & Peiden all had to go through qualifying heats as their groups were so large only 24 riders would contest their finals.
Nick was in the second heat of three 15mins+2laps, qualified 6th
Kodie was in the first heat of two 10 mins+2laps qualified eighth
Peiden was still feeling the affects of dunc and decided not to start.
U/9s 4laps Elizabeth rode well to collect her second silver medal.
U/11s 5laps James rode well for 8th
U/13w 15 mins+2laps.With our club taking up 25% of the field there was always someone in orange in view to cheer on.Briana 5th,Jessica 10th & Syan+smile 14th.
U/13m 15 mins+3laps Damon put in another solid ride to finish 12th
U/17m final 30mins+3laps.Nick rode well to stay in the pack a little bit of argey bargey over on the back of the circuit where I was stationed Nick showed off some of his mountain bike skills being pushed onto the grass twice to hold his position finishing 12th.
U/15m final 20min+3laps Kodie got baulked on the first corner and found himself in the middle of qualifying b graders and dropped in 20th place at the end of the first lap.Slowly but surely he clawed his way back through the field to be 12th 20seconds down and only dropped rider not to be lapped.

SUNDAY ROAD RACES
U/9 4k MUM said today is not a coffee ride its race mum said she rode coffee rides on saturday
It defineatly sunk in as the starter said go Elizabeth charged off the line to gap the field and never to be headed to collect more bling. This time GOLD
U/11m 6k James put in another consistant ride to finish 9th.
U/13w 9k Briana rode another strong race to finish 5th,Jessica rode as  consistant as she had been all weekend to be 10th again.Syan rode her best race of the season to finish with her usual smile 12th.
U/15w 23k This was the only event that Tayla Hunt was entered for she rode well and was happy with her result of 12th.
U/13 11.5k Damon showed off his sprinting abilatey  to be 10th with 300m to go finishing 7th at the line a good weekend for Damon being his first state road championships.
U/15m 2lapsx18k=36k first time past the s/f line Kodie held his own in a bunch of twenty, second time past lead bunch was 10 Kodie was in the second bunch of 3.Kodie just lost contact of his little bunch 3rd time past the s/f.Aproaching the finish line kodie was 12th with 300m to go getting swamped by a bunch of 4 at the line to finish 16th.Peiden still suffering with a lack of fittness withdrew at the end of the first 18k.
U/17m 3lapsx 18k=54k I was fortunate to be 2nd com on this race Nick tried to keep himself up the front during the race. At 9k mark the field of 68 was down to 50 at the end of the first lap it was down to 35.At the 34 k mark there was break of three riders which lasted for the next 7ks.At42k turn the field was down to 29 and nick was holding his own as they rounded the last witches hat turn at the 51k mark Caleb Ewan from SouternHighlands made his move not to be caught the field was down to 23 there was a fall with 300m to go Nick held his place to be 9th at the finish.
Everyone was happy with their results and it was rumoured that the Huggins hired an armourguard to transport all that bling home.
