After announcing his intent on the weekend, Charlie Benjamin Wan was born this evening just after 5pm. Kate's waters broke on Saturday afternoon, so it's been a long few days - not helped by transfers between North Gosford Private and Gosford Public and back due to concerns with Kate being only 34 weeks. But Charlie has proven to be a fine specimen (Dad's bias!), weighing in at 2.63kg or 5 lb 12 oz.

Jackson and Hannah can't wait to meet their little brother in the morning and Dad is just extremely relieved that Mum and bub are doing so well!

That's definitely not in the genes! I was thinking the little bloke should be better than his old man at getting up the hills - not that that's hard!
