Yesterday CCCC were represented in the U15 Mens and U 15 Womens NSW Team Sprint Championships.

U/15 Women - Keeley Marshall & Tayla Hunt - seeded 5th (out of 5 teams), due to odd number of teams had to ride the qualifying round on there own but still recorded 2nd fastest time to qualify for Gold medal final. Despite an amazing effort by both young ladies, they were beaten in the final by just 1 second by a far more experienced Bathurst team, to claim the silver medals.

U/15 Men - Sam Haynes, Damon Marshall & Peiden Telfer - seeded 4th (out of 4 teams), qualified 2nd fastest with 1.00.704. In the ride off for gold against red hot favourites Wagga Wagga, they recorded an even faster time of 59.6?? only to be beaten by Wagga by just 0.15 seconds, to claim the silver medals.

It was an awesome event to witness with CCCC obviously surprising many pundits with the qualifying and final results of both our teams. Well done to these fabulous young ladies and gents but also Damon Scarfe for preparing the teams and getting them focused on the day, all the CCCC family of supporters and all the other competitors on the day.

A sensational day for all the coast crew with results beyond the expectations especially the girls they stunned a few of the way more experienced rivals. To have 5 girls team entered this year after no entrys last year shows the depth of girls racing at the moment. The boy had wagga worried even before the finals after checking heat times they headed to the cars for aero helmets for the final. Great results for all the familys involved and to Damon for showing these kids that they can.
