This is the thread for your Kariong Hill TT attempts.  There was a thread in the past, and the best time looked like a 7.14 set by Ben Massa.  Old thread is here - http://www.impactcycling.com.au/index.php/topic,796.0.html

All attempts should be from a standing start, but if you do a rolling start and claim a time I doubt people will lose sleep - unless you were motorpaced to the start line at 70km/h.

The time trial is from the lights at the intersection of Brisbane Water Dr/CC Highway, up to the lights at Woy Woy Rd - Roughly 3.2km.  Pic of route is below.

Post up your times and I'll maintain the leaderboard below.

Remember - this challenge is just as much about bettering your own PB as it is about getting further up the leaderboard.  And most of all, it's about spew-tastic solo efforts!

GO FOR IT!

Best times:

1. Brad Boyd - 10m23s - 18.9km/h

26/04/11.  9:34

Probably could have gone faster if I was a bit younger...and fitter... And had a higher pain threshold...

Since Mick has the top of the podium at Wilfred barret I thought I'd give this one a go today.

Smiley fastest time in recent history! You must have been a kg lighter by the time you hit the lights on such a hot day.

Ha - it certainly was hot out there but what pushed me was Greggy whistling and chatting while following close behind.

Roughly 23.5 km/h nice one Andy. You need to come to the Tour de snowy so I can sit on your wheel like Voeckler did to Cadel up the Galibier.
