This is the thread for your Wilfred Barrett Dr TT attempts.  We will do this as two different TTs, a Northbound (Nth Entrance - Norah Head) and Southbound route (Norah Head - Nth Entrance)

All attempts should be from a standing start, but if you do a rolling start and claim a time I doubt people will lose sleep - unless you were motorpaced to the start line at 70km/h.

The time trial is from the 50/70 zone sign at North Entrance to the 60/80 zone sign just before the Denison St turnoff at Norah Head (near the cemetery) - Roughly 8.9km.  A pic of the route is below.

Post up your times and I'll maintain the leaderboard below.

Remember - this challenge is just as much about bettering your own PB as it is about getting further up the leaderboard.  And most of all, it's about spew-tastic solo efforts!

GO FOR IT!

Best times Northbound:

1. Mick Curran - 11m56s - 44.7km/h
2. Crispin - 12m36s - 42.4km/h

We are coming back into Spring/summer, which means TRACK SEASON.  This also means that the club will be running another form of summer racing, known as "Crits".

Flat efforts can come in handy for this type of racing, so let's get out there and start smashing out some times!

It doesn't matter how good your time is, throw it in the mix and watch your times improve.

PS - I cleaned out all the old posts so it was easier to see the leaderboard.  Nothing personal. Smiley

You're 13 seconds down on a 50km/h av attempt.  Not good enough, try harder next time.

TT bars, good wheels, TT helmet and take those 3 uphill sections out and it's doable.

Be like this guy, know your equipment, BE the equipment.  Train in full TT kit in your kitchen.  Those 13 seconds will disappear in no time!

EDIT - that black skinsuit... is it Greggy?
