IT'S HERE! The 2011 CCCC Winter Road Season!

All RTA and Police approval has been sent through and we are ready to race.

Please find the Program attached.

If you have any concerns with the week you have been rostered on, try to contact someone personally and make a swap. Then, email me mickiecurran@hotmail.com and inform me of the change. If you do not have any success swapping, email me and i'll see what I can do.

See y'all at Calga on the 23rd!  Smiley

Hi, i'm new to this and new to cycling but interested in doing the race out at Calga this Sat. Just wondering since I'm not a member of a club can I enter? If so how much is it? What time should I turn up to register? I think I'd be in c grade
Cheers Smiley

Hi bear,

You will have to get a day permit to race with the club which is $33 as per here: http://centralcoastcyclingclub.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=15&Itemid=29

Race entry is $10.

If you plan on getting a day permit I would advise to be there early before the 'rush' starts at the sign on desk. Around 1:15-1:20pm should be fine.

The club handicapper will put you into a grade on the day based on your riding experience, but you will most likely be in D grade to start out.

See you there.

Do not be put off by the clouds.

Calga (unlike Lucca Rd) is a safe, out and back course. The wet weather DOES NOT mean racing is off.

Calga has never been cancelled due to wet weather. It rarely rains at Calga anyway, even if raining at Gosford!!

See you at Kariong Information centre @ 1pm to ride up. Or, if driving there, see you up there.

Thankyou everyone today for your efforts to find a key for the storage facility and make the racing happen.

Great to be back racing at Calga (still as difficult as last season) - thanks to the helpers today; Darryl, Whitey, Shaun and Ryan

Attached are some stats from the 2nd time up blood trying to hang on to the pace setters:

Can any one swap TC and trailer duty for the 8th May. Being Mothers Day it's probably going to create issues if I am not there to make breakfast.

Thanks
Mick
