Updated list with a South African flavour.

I used to do morning & weekend training rides with Tony Impey & his teenage son Daryl. Tony kindly sponsored me with his team kit so I guess I can boast that at one time, back in the day, I was on the same team as a current GreenEdge pro.  Wink

Still not as prestigious in these parts as saying I know Mick Curran though!

GreenEdge for 2012 (incomplete)

Michael Albasini (Switzerland), Fumiyuki Beppu (Japan), Jack Bobridge, Simon Clarke, Baden Cooke, Allan Davis, Mitchell Docker, Simon Gerrans, Matt Goss, Leigh Howard, Brett Lancaster, Robbie McEwen, Cameron Meyer, Travis Meyer, Stuart O’Grady, Matt Wilson, Wesley Sulzberger (all Australia), Julian Dean (New Zealand), Daryl Impey (South Africa), Jens Keukeleire (Belgium), Sebastian Langeveld, Jens Mouris and Pieter Weening (Netherlands), Christian Meier and Svein Tuft (Canada), Daniel Teklehaimanot* (Eritrea) and Tomas Vaitkus (Lithuania).

Geez.  Imagine if they'd have signed Allan Davis, they could have made the top 10

How good has Cam Meyer been in the last two mountain stages at the Tirreno Adriatico, finishing 0:01:22 down on Nibali in stage 5 & only 0:00:22 down on Rodrigues in stage 6. He is only 0:01:43 down on GC in 13th place with only the ITT to go. Possibly a top 10 finish for Meyer.

Any news on Davis?
