SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12th

Be a part of the action as we promote the sport of cycling to Newcastle, as well as raise awareness of prostate cancer.

The event is being run by Hunter District Cycling Club (HDCC) and the Hunter Prostate Cancer Alliance (HPCA).

Hey, is anyone from the club heading up for these races? Would there Div 2 crit race be the same as our Sunday race ( C and D combined) ?

Div 2 will be state C grade and below. Div 1 will be state B and above. Some big guns will be there for Div 1. Hot dog circuit.

I spoke with Ian Lovell this morning about the Killer K Carnival, here is some additional info-

You can enter on the day (no late fees) and the juniors will also be racing a crit now instead of just a straight line sprint.

There is $500 for the winner of Div 1 and 5 x $50 sprints through the race, Div 2 has $200 and 4 x $50 sprints.

Its not often we get to race on a closed crit circuit so close to home- it would be great to get a few more Coasties heading up.

At the moment we have the folling riders representing the CCCC
