Hey guys thought I should eventually sign up to this.

There is one underlining issue that I see has been missed.  You (andrew) raced the B grade winners race, weather you did or didnt contest for a place or not, you then raced the same race in another grade.

This should not of happened. It was brought to the attention of the commisaire and the race was allowed to start under the conditions that you stayed on the back to "cool down" as you put it. During the first 3 laps of the race myself and mick curren reminded you that you were not in the race and to move from the middle of the bunch to the back.

Then two laps later you sprint for a place?

You have no need to apologise to me at all as I actually gained 2nd place rather than 3rd because of this. I just think that this situation should never have been able to take place.

No hard feelings

Michael - I agree with your post but as I mentioned earlier it was a heat of the moment thing. One that I obviously regret - shouldn't have raced B grade and should have stuck to A grade then it all would have been avoided.

I take responsibilty and I won't make the same mistake again.

"Dan
I know people have explained to me several times ...but how the hell you got my wheel in the winner’s race still has me scratching my head. "

it didnt do me any good i was soon dropped off the bunch. it was funny to see your face though.  the noises of a steam train  you made when making a counter move let me know where you were.

thats it, we are human.

as long as we all learn from our mistakes and never make the same one twice.

I understand how things can be when you see an oportunity to out sprint mick curren.
I would just like to see some better communication between race organisers and the riders.

Nice move anyway!

See you friday

I miss all the fun! Now I need to know what happened. It's really hard trying to put together a story from fractured posts of, sprints, coming around the outside, sheep stations and finding wheels..  Grin
Michael... You dont have to sign off with your name! It's right there with your pic for Hodgee of your six pack and BT...  Grin

At least the commissaires are consistent across the board (crits and track) handing out DQ's  Wink
