Hi girls,
Just wanted to show you that I have finally left the safety of Simon's shadow and developed my own identity. Maybe we could start talking cycling skills etc on here to kick start our section again.

Rosko,
Simon doesn't have to have 'hero' status on the forum to be a hero to me!

Hey girls,
Hugs just bought me a new bike!!!! Cheesy
I wonder what he bought himself?Huh?? Undecided
Apparently my 'old' bike will fit James and because it was a man's bike I will be much more comfortable on my new ladies bike.
Shall keep you posted as to what Simon has bought himself.

Did he buy it after the skills course today or did he already have it hiding at home for you when you got back?

I picked him up from the bike shop on the way home from cycling skills. He showed me the bike but didn't say anything about buying it. It was on the way home that he said he had bought it. He has been talking about a new pair of cleats since we've been home so I think I now know why I got a new bike! Mind you though, a new bike seems a bit excessive compared to a pair of cleats!!! I'm sure there's more to come!
I just need to subtract the bike from my holiday fund.

Yeah, he needs new cleats to fit his new pedals to fit his new cranks that will fit his new frame.  Grin

With all that newness he will need a new Central Coast Kit with the new knicks with that awesome chamois, then a new helmet to make sure it all looks shiny..  Grin

It's actually new shoes I need, I've got plenty of cleats..... Stumpy I like your idea though! Wink

Kylie will be riding a very nice SUB Zero as of next week Grin

She now has to ride on the road but needs a training partner, any takers? Mrs Tosser, Mrs Citizen, Mrs GM, Phils Leash......

Hmmm, sorry Kylie I wont be able to help with the training partner thing. Although I think Simon is unreal for actually thinking to buy something for you without asking first, if Phil came home with a bike for me I think I would be rather dissapointed. I think I would actually rather new blinds than a bike Grin
