It's that time when we have to book accommodation for anyone looking to race at Port Macquarie in May.

I have some prices for Cabins at Sundowner Caravan Park - the one on the break wall right in town.

At this stage there are two Cabins available that are suitable for us. They are fully self contained, internal bathroom with SPA bath, balcony and all linen supplied. Walking distance to shops and 10 mins from the race start/finish.

Cabins sleep 5 in each and the price for two nights is $317 for each cabin (that's $65 per person if we have 5 in each - will cost slightly more if less than 5, you can do the math).

Price for 3 nights is $475.50 (that's $95 per person if we have 5 in each cabin)

I think two nights will be enough but some of you may think otherwise - let me know. I guess the third night would be the Sunday so we can relax after the crits, have an early bunch ride then head home?

I am happy to book this but we will move pretty quickly. I will book the first cabin as soon as I have 4 names and will book the second when we have the next 4 to keep prices down.

Post here or call me on 0413 85 2222 if you are keen or need more info.

1 Cabin booked so far - room for one more in this one. First in first served.

Booked for three nights - no said otherwise. If this is no good, let me know asap so I can change it.

At this stage for 4 people it'll be $120.00 each
If we get one more it'll be $ 95.00

You can pay me or Mrs GM when you see us - thanks

If we get 4 more names I'll book the second cabin - can someone ask RVS, TROY & SMITHY when you see them - don't think they use the forum, or anyone else that will be racing.

Last spot in Cabin 1 is gone - Brad Craft has secured a rare leave pass.  Grin

Not sure if he is racing or not as he said something about a boot full of beer, late nights and parties?

So Stumpy, what's going on with the accommodation?

On top of your original four I see me, Brad, Chicken, and Gadget.  That's eight, so have you booked the second cabin?

You may have to back to the beginning of the thread Jock - the 5 are:

You
Me
Chicken
Gadget
Crafty

That makes five.  Grin

If we get any more takers (at least 3) I'll book another cabin.
