Back to Sunday for the inaugural Bumble Group Ride.

Leave West Gosford shops at 6am head to Terrigal for 6.30.
Leave Terrigal Pub at 6.30am heading north to Wamberal and onto The Entrance Road.
Left at Shelly Beach roundabout onto Wyong Road.
Right at Tuggerah roundabout onto The Pacific Hwy into Wyong.

Left at Church St Kights (in Wyong) Follow past the High School and onto Alison Rd.
Straight onto Yarramalong Rd all the way to Yarramalong and the base of Bumbl Hill.

Take a deep breath and start climbing for 3kms.

Follow Bumble Hill Road until it meets George Downes Road where we will head left.
Follow this road to Kariong and down the hill into West Gosford.

Should be around a 100km loop (approx.)

Does anybody have any ideas for a coffee stop after Bumble?

As always, bring your CC strip if you have one, let your mates know about the ride and if you don't feel like joining us, the usual coffee ride will be happening from West Gosford shops at 7.00am.

Don't forget that everyone is welcome and we will be regroup at the top of Bumble.

First to the top will return down and climb again with the back markers - yeah right  Grin

Corrugated Cafe on Peats Ridge Rd is good for coffee. Or Aaron and I live on George Downes, stop for coffee and a swim!! Went to experience Bumble today and "unfortunately" snapped my rear deraillieur at about the 2km mark (see there is a god!!)

Freya, are you going to join us for a ride or are you just pretending to be doing all those kms? We'll all be looking for a 40km lead out from Terrigal to the base of Bumble.  Grin

Coffee shop sounds good, I don't think Freya will want to be making coffee for up to 20 moaning and sweaty guys, oops 19 guys and Hodgee.  Wink

Does anybody know where the coffee shop is?

You know where the corrugated cafe is,Andy .Thats at the shops where the turnaround is for the clubs racing on Peats Ridge Rd.  Cheesy

Thats not really on the way at all, Mick, about 15 kms out of the way actually. Roll Eyes

There is a Service station and Outdoor cafe at Kulnura on George Downes dr which will be on the return journey just after we all crawl to the top of Bumble Hill.
I will do a recon this wednesday and get the exact location after my hill repeats on the Bumble  Tongue

Better check with Freya ,she works with sweaty moaning people all the time . Shocked Keep it clean, she is a Pilates Instructor. She lives somewhere along George Downes dr which is exactly on the journey.

She might even show us her secret racetrack next door,  Shhh!! Its a secret Lips sealed

On ya Chicken - don't forget to order a coffee on your recon. You know how fussy the boys can be.

Can you ask if they do a caramel latte for Hodgee - ahhhh it's all starting to add up now  Grin Grin

Rumour has it he likes scalding hot chocolate dripped from great heights onto bare body parts - but it's a caramel latte to drink.
