Pete Tomkins and I will be meeting at WGS, 1000, to ride out to the dam (apparently) all comers are welcome. There is no guarantee that I will be there, I won't know until 0800 tomorrow (good old work).

With the teacher's strike today, I will be heading out from Kincumber at 11:30, is there anyone interested in a ride for a couple of hours? Meet at WGS 12:00, even if it is just for the 'coffee ride' route...  Grin

Vic and I will be heading up Kariong, departing the Mobil on the corner of The Entrance Rd & Avoca Dve at 930. This will be an easy ride, up the hill, F3, access track, then out through Calga to return.

For anyone who may be considering joining Vic and I tomorrow, we have had to delay meeting to 1000 at the Mobil Servo! Come along...  Grin

Jason joined Vic and I today, great to have some extra company, and made the best call I have ever heard on a ride.... "The road is deceptive here!"
To which I replied "no, it goes up hill!"
Jason's astute answer....  "and we're climbing!"  Grin

Jason, and you will all be surprised by this one, has a new bike, and is now looking for a track bike to come racing at Gosford!

Very similar to Phil Ligget's (is that how you spell it?) call during this years TDF- "they are on the steepest part of the climb now....and it gets steeper around the corner...." classic

Not cycling related, but Linda had a good call when we about to turn onto the freeway and there was a painted sign on the lane to indicate which one was leading to the freeway.

Linda looked confused then turned to me and asked the question - "What is a Way Free"   Grin Grin

Its funny you should be talking about this.

I found myself in a lane 'way giving' the other day for hours.  Grin
