In January there were 2000 posts Cheesy
May was down to 844 :'(
I'd like to thank Andy for creating & maintaining this site. All the excitement of having a contact place has been a big asset for all members & lurkers alike. At the moment it is still chugging along OK. Lets keep it going Cheesy

Going by the above post, and this one.. there is still plenty of rubbish... Going past 'Bluetongue' this afternoon, and I noticed the nets were up... It's getting close!

Rubbish = Mariner Posts!!

Take your Mariner posts elsewhere Rosko/Mrs GM/Climbo!!  Otherwise the forum will lose it's impact.

Although May had only 844 posts there were in fact 72143 page views.
That is 86 views per Post
As opposed to 37 views per post in January

I make one tiny mistake and you jump on it... I'm not the school teacher here! The grammar and spelling is atrocious on this forum! That'''''''s it... I''''''m not playing...  Grin By the way.. Are you sure that it is incorrect... An apostrophe where I have placed it, is implying ownership! Hmmmmm  Grin

yep allen is correct because you can not own impact!

Another way of looking at it is the apostrophe does not replace a letter. For example,
' doesn't ' is short for does not where the apostophe replaces the 'o'.
Therefore in this case there is no apostrophe because it is not replacing a letter. If it was replacing a letter the sentence would be grammatically incorrect " There is no way that it is losing it is 'IMPACT'..

Too much time!

Now when I commented that I'm not the school teacher on here, I was hoping a 'real' teacher would have some input, not one that paints with fingers...  Grin I'm still going with "it's"! I believe it's technically correct as you can 'own' impact, just as you can own love. Come on Tosser, share the love..  Grin  Kiss
