Okay Rosko here goes. 'Its' is a personal pronoun and does not have the apostrophe for ownership apply. It would be the same for 'yours'. 'It's' as a contraction does apply though. Hope this helps. (Please note how nice I was in correcting you!)

But whatever gets the members talking more can only help our chances of winning the club competition at RAW track racing..

I'd like to clarify why I commented re the ' in it's.
I was actually bagging myself for using the apostrophe inappropriately in the tittle. I am an exceptionally poor speller. Sometimes I get a word so wrong even spell check can't give me an alternative.
There is a couple of members of the forum who have much greater difficulty expressing themselves than I do, but I would never comment on their posts.
