The Tour of Turkey has been pretty dour watching.  I hope they cover the Tour of California, so we can cheer for an Aussie team.

I'd rather watch a real race, the Giro d'Italia. Which I believe will also be on Eurosport.

Amgen Tour of California will be live on SBS

Nice tip.

Cycling has unprecedented coverage on TV at the moment...it wasn't that long ago that you had to wait and hope for months before SBS would give you a snippet. And Eurosport on Fox hardly showed anything... but now, some of the classics are live!?!?

More great Cycling coverage this weekend on SBS one

On this Sunday 9th MAY starting at 11.30 am the UCI MTB World cup from the U.K.

and then for roadies at 12 midday La Fleche-Wallone, Belgium , the first of this years wins for Cadel and

at 12.30 the last and Queen of the European Spring Classics ..... Vino's, Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

So if you are entertaining mum or your wife this Mothers Day and can't sneak away don't forget to fire up the recorder.  Grin

Don't forget the 101 st edition of the GIRO d'ITALIA starts this Saturday night with a ITT Prologue in Amsterdam

Can't find any free to air coverage for Stage one at present but...

Starting Monday night and right through the next three weeks

on SBS TWO a 30 min highlights package commencing with Stage 2 is on at 8.30 pm

This should be a cracker once they reach the real mountains in Stage 8 with Cadel showing great form for GC and Robbie McEwan looking good for a sprint finish win in the super flat stages two and three especially.

Watched the replay this morning...it was hard to watch all those crashes  Shocked . Bit dissapointed with the wrap-up (lack of) at the end; didn't know who had made it through  Huh ; I guess that's what cyclingnews is for.

Can't wait for the next stage.

Bit surprised not to see Robbie in the finish.
