How awesome is this bit of news from an 'old timer'...

Congrats to Shane Kelly & commiserations to Ben Kersten after todays ride off for the 3rd rider spot in the Teams Sprint for Aust in Beijing.

Regardless of what happens from here on in, Shane makes history as the first Aussie Trackie to go to 5 Olympics.
How amazing is that when you consider that his "old" pet event the kilo is no longer on the program!

Thats kinda good luck that the kilo isnt on for Kelly.... otherwise kersten would be going for it, and would have automatically had the team sprint position. lol

Does that make it kind of bad luck for Kersten that the Kilo isn't on.. He now gets to watch on tele!
