Ill have a go at a division 1 report.

Firstly there were three coasties toughing out the fastest grade. Mick Curren, Glenn Elton and Myself.
Warm up scratch
The first warm up race was set over 18 laps, this longer race was due to the number of riders that division 1 contained.
The race started quick and steady with the first 5 or so laps just with riders pealing off turns. Unfortunately for me their were some realy strong juniors in division 1, and as we all know juniors never want to ride a steady race. It was then that Jackson Law launched his attack from the front of the bunch. The next 5 laps or so were done at a super high pace, with riders doing whatever they could to hold the rider in front of them. It semi came back together with 6 or so laps to go but with only half the field remaining due to the pace. When yet another attack was launched. Gaps started forming everywhere, and it was clear the pace was on when all of the sprinters had been shed (myself included). The final three laps were riden by the 5 or so riders that were left, although they were spread out over 200m. Mick Curren  placed an impressive 3rd for his first track race back for the season.

Sprint Round (6 riders per heat)
I was placed in the second last heat along with Glenn Elton, Grant Law, Paul Bailey + others lol. Due to the quality and number of riders in the heat I didnt want to risk a stuff up in positioning, So i decided to lead the race from the front. The two slow laps rolled passed quite quickly when with 1 lap to go I went for it, serging at about 90% then giving it everything into the back straight. I was rolled by Grant Law with 3m before the line.

The final heat (by my recollection) was an interesting one. With the likes of Gavin White (last years Raw Winner), Peter Barnard, Computer (some huge guy), Mick Curren and Jackson Law the scrath race winning junior. The first lap and a half were slow with Peter Barnard leading at the front while the other riders tough out their positions. Heading into the straight with one lap to go Mick Curren made his move. Unfortunately sprinters are fast and quickly disabled Mick's attempt. Leaving him 3 wide with 1 lap to go. The last lap was fast and aggressive with riders trying to find gaps and crawl through holes even a mouse wouldnt touch. Gavin White just claimed victory over Peter Barnard in the finaly meters.

Winners Race
Ill be honest I didnt see all this race as I was preparing for the madison. But I do recall Glen Elton being a motor and pulling some solid turns.

Madison
Wow I rode a madison lol what was i getting myself into? Lots of PAIN!
A 40 laps madison after a few rounds of racing sounds painfull. But then add into the equation a sprinter being teamed up with a hitter like Mick Curren. Also add into the equation about 8 other teams including the likes of the junior NSW Boys Jackson Lap And little Nugget. This is what we faced.
It was Micks first madison at the Dunc, and my first non club madison in over a year. There was a 10 lap "get to know you" period, However this did end up being a 10 lap get to drop you period. With 4 riders geining a nice lead over the rest of us. There were a few hectic moments due to some of the other teams having virgin madison riders. After a few miss changes and almost crashes from going to slow at the top of the track the race really got hard..
Myself and Mick put in a huge effort to solo the gap over to the leading riders (and we made it). The only problem was they were only going about 90% and by the time we got there all smashed, they decided to go for it. One by one teams were being pulled from the race after being lapped (then designated their finishing position). Being half a lap down on the leaders and me searisouly smashed we both decided our time was up and withdrew to the inside of the track claiming I think 5th or 6th position. The race then continued with the fast junior team winning strongly.

I missed the final combine race (sorry) perhaps either Mick Or Glenn Could report that one.. All in all it was a great night of racing..

 Sounds like the madison would have been fun to see from the stands..
