Are we going to do something special for the tour?  (Or am I the only fanatic who watches the whole thing?)  Maybe for the last stage or during the highest mountains, we could have a Tour Night and snacks.  Watch them work while we sit on the lounge!  Do the guys ever watch it together, if not, should we invite them?  I'd like to bring them along, if they promise to not talk jargon. Smiley  Any thoughts?  I know someone with a projector...

Make sure you look out for me on the Alpe d'Huez stage.....I'll be the one running and screaming in Cadels ear, wearing my Borat suit, Aussie flag painted on my chest and a blow up kangaroo on my head.  Grin

By the way Andy.
Don't coaches advocate getting to bed early to maximise muscle growth after training. Huh

How come I always see you on the forum after 10.30 at night  Undecided

Of course I shouldn't talk. Tongue

Going to bed early 'always' causes muscle growth.. I just have to figure out how to retain the growth for endurance...  Undecided Roll Eyes Grin

Here is a really cool website I used last year for up to the minute info on TDF  Cool

It will have live video links once the tour starts and You Tube videos of finish line action after each stage  Wink
http://www.steephill.tv/2008/tour-de-france/

And here is a link to a Google Earth route map of all the stages for this year  Cool

You're not alone Jason.  Cycling was Kane's obsession for a while there until, this January, I decided I had to understand what all the fuss was about - now I'm obsessed!  Im so excited about "my first" TDF.  I can't wait for it to start!!!!!  Shocked Wink

Maaate...   Roll Eyes Smiley
You can never get enough info and goss on the TDF - scandals ,opinions, whatever....
Last year I was on pezcycling , eurostar, cycling news, yahoo sports, steephill, and other websites just to keep up with Cadel and Robbie ,Stuey and Mick Rogers yet alone all the euro stars.

SBS's site was boring  Undecided  Sad compared to www.steephill.tv  Cheesy Have alook at their 2007 site for fantastic scenery and action photos www.steephill.tv/2007/tour-de-france/

I'm so glad I posted that question - look at all the good sites I'm getting!  How on earth do you guys find the time to do anything other than just watch it?  I work, sleep and watch.  No time to check the net!

Louise, I'll look into a date, place etc.  I'd like to pick a good stage, since it will be a pretty late night, we'll want it to be thrilling.

Hang on - would it be best on a Friday or Saturday regardless of stage?
