Women's ride this Sunday, (but anyone can come) in the morning, around Tuggerah Lake.  I'll post details soon.  25km/hr or so (it is a very flat ride).

(This ride is 50km)

Here is a guestimate it is rough.

Toukley Police Station 7:10am 9km to
Sparks Road/Pacific Hwy roundabout 7:35 11km to
Mardi corner Johnson Rd/Pacific Hwy 8am 11km to
Wyong Rd/Entrance Rd roundabout 8:30
Up Wilfred Barret about 19km to
Noraville Roundabout 9:20 or 9:30

(Continue around again to Mardi, which should get us there at 10:20 or 10:30.)

If you let me know you're coming, I will wait a little for you at your point.  We'll try to leave on time, but not early.  I've worked on an average of 25km/hr, but we can slow it a bit if we need to?

Good to have you Cathryn.  I'll come in to Mardi, since you'll all be there together, it will work well.

I think this weather will clear, but if it doesn't I could post tomorrow at 7, is that ok?  (Or are we so hard core we ride in cyclones?  Smiley )

I am not so hard core to ride in a decent wind.  Freaks me out.  Kane thinks Im soft but he's been riding for ages (and is more confident).  Wind is just too much hard work.  If its blowing..... I won't be going!!!! Shocked

I will check at 7am on the forum and we can decide what we'll do. Im sure we will all be on at the same time. The forecast is a bit indecisive so best to wake up and check.

It can be dangerous to ride over The Entrance & Toukley Bridges when it is windy. It is likely to be twice as strong on the bridges as everywhere else Shocked
Walking over on the foot paths could be a good idea Smiley

Good-oh, I'll be on here at 7.

Don't worry Allen - if it is strong enough to blow us around on the bridge, we won't be out there at all!  (We'll be at home, watching the Olympics, like all normal people.)  You're right about Toukley Bridge.  I know its windy when I have to pedal down it!  You're really buffeted around.  How do you spell buffeted.....
