If you have an idea for a Sunday ride you want to see post it here, or send me a private message if you don't want to cop the heat for a crap ride.  Grin

Rides should be around 3.5 - 4hrs to complete at a steady pace with a coffee stop.

Wards Hill needs to be on a ride soon, can branch off from a coffee ride and go through Empire Bay, Killcare, Macs, Copa, Avoca to Terrigal for coffee, hills all the way home.  Starting from Terrigal it should be 3+ hours (anyone ever timed it?), extra hills can always be found if required.

we definatly need to head out to mangrove dam and back!

we can either climb up the little bump called bumble or leave our skirts on and go across the top (reverse to what we did after the bumble climb the other day) probably the skirt option would better suit you southern crew.
the decend into the dam is great and a nice veiw when we get there but the best bit will be the climb out of the dam. the trip is 100-110km from mine, i live 28km from the base of bumble so that would mean the dam is about 20-25km from the top of bumble. we can use the corregated cafe again.

what do we think?

Both sound good.

Mick, how far is yours as a round trip from WGS or Terrigal? Is out and back better or a loop?

Three Girls Rosko, But only one I can get to go to bed on time. Chloe is 9 and still believes in Santa so after organising the traditional bickies and milk for santa (lo fat of course) and carrots for the reindeers she has not long passed out.

The other two are helping out in the kitchen as we speak making yummy treats.  Cheesy

Sorry you have to work   :'( , I 'll think of you as I eat my christmas dinner Smiley

Hodgee, can you map the Coffee Ride route, then the option over to Wards Hill and in and out of Macs, Copa and Avoca.  Not sure if it is long enough, we can add the climb down and out of Hardys Bay also.

All these maps and profiles would be great to have listed on the club website Willy.

probably the out and back option would be better because it takes out bumble. the climb out of the dam is tough enough,

Hodgee, youre a genious... If you wanted to add a little distance on to the ride out through Macs you could always continue onto to Lisarow from West Gosford and head to Terrigal via the Ridgeway...
