Hey everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a regular Monday afternoon/evening endurance ride (100km or so).  I would be doing this on the week where we have a sunday crit on, i.e. every second week.

I would do it in the morning but I have to work.

I was think it would be best to start this late afternoon, say 4-4.30 pm so that we void some UV rays and it starts to cool down a bit, but be home for dinner (7-730pm).  This would be just like the stumpy ride, nice and easy.  Might need some basic lights depending on how late people want to start.

Tell me your thoughts

Cheers

I think you may be competing with track training, so a few who would otherwise go with you will instead be riding in circles!

Callum, Yea, can't tonight mate, but definately next week.

Nice to know I will have at least one friend who is up for it!

Rosko, forgot about that.  Oh well, those who are interested in going somewhere, instead of making themselves dizzy are more than welcome to come along.

Tomorrow Callum and I will be heading off from WGS at 4pm heading north for about a 3 hr ride of fun, relaxation and some much needed kilometres.  Everyone welcome, the pace will be easy base work (so usual stumpy ride pace) to allow me to get my breath back after that IQ lowering effort this morning (lack of oxygen to brain starts to cause damage you see).

We should be back by about 7pm.

Basic lighting would be a good idea for anyone interested just for the last half hour or so.

Mitch, what is your proposed route? I work in Tuggerah - could maybe start riding south to meet you if I knew which way you were going!

Basically, whatever is best for you, I was thinking of leaving WGS, cutting up through the back of lisarow then joining the pacific hwy and heading north on that.  I was imagining we would end up heading towards Newcastle, but obviosuly not make it that far.  I used to often turn at some recycling place.

Do you have a better idea?

Mate, you haven't been there, surely they should now be more used to that than they used to be!

Yea, no worries.

Slight change of route, I'm thinking a detour up Bumble hill might be in order, I have never been there and last time I tried was with the group and the road was flooded.  Meant to be big I think.....

Mitch, not sure when i last heard Bumble Hill as part of an "easy base work" ride?
I want to hear you bragging on Tuesday about 3 bumble hill repeats and a 25kph average for each Shocked

For anyone interested I will be leaving WGS at 4PM regardless of weather. If rain gets heavy I will most likely be coming home a little earlier to avoid darkness.
