On thursdays frosty is spicing things up a little and hosting mystery rides. i think he just calls them this because he is too lazy (and has a real job) to organise a route like stumpy does.

Anyway they leave cal close somersby (same time as usual) at 3.20pm and can head anywhere the group/individual chooses. if you have a ride come along and put it into action.

todays 'frosty's mystery' went out along mangrove rd to bumble and down it then through yarramalong to the back of wyong and onto the freeway briefly at the wyong exit and off again at the ourimbah exit, refueling for for water at the ourimbah shell servo, right at the new lights with the speed camera at ourimbah into dog trap rd, to begin the uphill drag to the somersby shop and the usual way home. the loop gave us about 75km.

do yourself a favour and get yourself up there whilst you are on these so called hollidays.

he also has his usual route still on the tuesday arvo. also leaving cal close 3.20pm.

Had a great time today, coming down Bumble was a real treat - not to be missed.  Problem is I have no brake pads left.

Sounds like it would have been a good ride. Unfortunately I had family duties today.
How was Dog Trap Rd.Is there still a dirt section there ?
How many riders turned up?

hey chicken!
yeah there is still a dirt section but that just allows stumpy to do some two wheel drifting like he was showing us yesterday.

we had a great size bunch of 8. not to big not to small.

Yup.  Take some lights though.  Last time I went the ride went all the way at to the dam.  We locked the gate to the dam at sunset!!
