I was full of praise towards Mick on his superb showing at the state Omnium series, when I casually asked how he went in the TT.
"I won it" was his brief reply.

Holy shit! The last time CCCC had a state 1000m Time trial champion was 1989 when Grant Fraser took the title from the absent Martin Vinicombe.

Well done Mick and congratulations. A state gold medal treasure it.

Just a quick question.
Is this the same Mick Curran who wasn't good enough for Team FSA?Huh?? or have I been given false information?

i have not been approached and asked to ride for them so i asume the answer is i am not good enough.  ill just take it on the chin and show them on the road.

You're always welcome to join the elite Up&Go squad.  Might need to buy a fake beard, white ear hair and some "Smell-O-Grandpa" to qualify though.

Fantastic Result Mick.  Cool

You are on fire.  Cheesy

Make sure you hold back a bit for the road season. Wink

Seems like you might go up a further level than FSA, straight to a continental team ride or maybe even a PROtour team in the future.

Need to work on your CV and send out some feelers.  Wink
